We use account, card, listing, and marketplace data to operate BatchXC. We do not sell personal information. We share data only with connected services, vendors that help us run the product, or when required for safety or law.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to BatchXC websites, desktop software, mobile experiences, applications, support channels, and related services (the “Service”). It does not govern eBay, Google, Discord, Apple, payment providers, cloud-storage providers, or other third-party services you choose to connect.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information such as name, email address, authentication method, workspace name, and preferences.
- Card photos, filenames, batch names, corrections, listing drafts, item specifics, prices, descriptions, SKUs, and approval choices.
- Support messages, screenshots, feedback, and other information you choose to send us.
- Subscription and billing status. Payment providers process payment credentials; BatchXC does not need to store full payment card numbers.
Information from connected services
When you authorize a marketplace or file-storage connection, we receive the identifiers, authorization credentials, files, listings, inventory, orders, sales, performance information, and account details needed for the features you request. We use marketplace data only for seller workflows, connected-service operations, security, support, and other purposes you authorize.
Information collected automatically
We may receive device and browser type, operating system, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, pages visited, feature interactions, error logs, security events, and request metadata. Our current website analytics are aggregate and do not use third-party tracking cookies.
How we use information
- Authenticate users and keep sessions secure.
- Import, organize, identify, review, publish, edit, and synchronize cards and listings.
- Generate titles, descriptions, item specifics, duplicate suggestions, quality checks, and pricing context.
- Maintain seller dashboards, batch history, inventory, sales, and usage limits.
- Detect errors, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms or connected-platform rules.
- Provide support, send essential service communications, and improve performance and usability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.
Card fingerprints and product improvement
BatchXC may create derived visual fingerprints, feature vectors, normalized card attributes, and quality signals from uploaded card images and authorized marketplace results. These derived records help recognize the same card or card design more quickly and consistently in future batches.
We design these derived records around the card, not the seller. They are not intended to identify a person. We may retain card-level derived data that no longer identifies an account after source content is deleted, where permitted by law, so long as it cannot reasonably be used to reconstruct personal information.
How information is shared
We may share information with:
- Services you connect, such as eBay or a selected cloud-storage provider, to perform actions you request.
- Infrastructure and product vendors that provide hosting, database, authentication, analytics, communications, payments, error monitoring, image processing, or listing review.
- Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse, or respond to valid legal process.
- A successor organization as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use another eBay member’s personal information for unrelated advertising or mailing lists.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Retention varies by data type and account status.
- Active account, batch, and integration data is generally retained while the account is open.
- Security, audit, billing, and support records may be retained after closure when needed for legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
- Backups are removed on their normal rotation schedule and remain protected while retained.
- De-identified card fingerprints and aggregate statistics may be retained when they no longer reasonably identify a user.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can update account information, disconnect integrations, manage authentication providers, or request account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to appeal or complain to a regulator.
Send a request to supportandprivacy@batchxc.com. We may verify your identity before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Security and international processing
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and Service. No internet service is perfectly secure, so you should use a unique password, protect your email and connected accounts, and promptly report suspicious activity.
BatchXC and its vendors may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
Age limits
BatchXC is intended for adults operating seller accounts and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to create an account.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continued use after an effective change is governed by the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
Questions and privacy requests may be sent to supportandprivacy@batchxc.com.
